Born in Colombia, Mateo came to the United States  at the age of 7.  Music has been a part of his upbringing since he could comprehend sound. After coming to the US and widening his taste in sound, opportunities appeared. He started performing at local bars and clubs before expanding to weddings & corporate events. Deejayteo continues to play for a wide range of venues. He is known for his creativity and taking the time to customize each and every event.
